? about AF after coming off BCP

I just stopped taking BCP (last Saturday was my last pill) AF showed like normal the Thursday before (2 days before the end of the pack)

AF just left (wednesday -- normal for me)

This morning I feel like I'm having O pains. Could that be?

I was worried about AF taking forever to show up again...did anyone have it come back earlier than their "normal" cycle? (28 days for me)

Mine took longer - 36 days, I think.

You shouldn't get a period for at least 20 days after the start of your last one because it takes that long to go through the proper hormone chain.

Are you using any methods to detect your O date? ie temping, ovulation kits, etc?

I'm not using any method as of right now.

if it keeps on the track I think it's on right now it'll be 22 days....I was just expecting it to take longer than my usual cycle not less time. I'm fine as long as it gets here!

Mine took 48 days to show after I stopped BCP and I don't think I O'ed the first month or two off of them. Your "real" normal cycle length may not be 28 days, the BCP were just regulating it to be 28 days. I know there are girls on here that have a average cycle length of 24-25 days.

According to the info you provided, if you got AF last Thursday you would be on CD9 today, which is a bit early to be O'ing, but some people do O that early in their cycles so anything is possible. I would recommend getting some opk's for next month to know for sure what is going on. Good luck!

Mine went right back (except for O), but day wise it was on time.
