About Chron's Disease
It's not confirmid yet that I may have this, but my Doctor thinks I might. All this week I have been having really bad stomach pains (on my lower right side) and it feels like someone had punched me really hard in the stomach, the pain is horrible. I have an appt with the GI on the 17th of March but if the pain does not go away or gets worse I will go to the er.
Does anyone know the symtoms to this disease?
any informtion would be great.

I have Crohn's. There can be many symptoms. Stomach pains can be one of them, but there are others. I had problems with my eyes, and got abcesses which caused high fevers. If you find the right doctor/ meds, etc. It can be very manageable. Let me know if you have any specific questions. Good luck!

Thank you..... I have just really bad stomach pains, like someone is in there twisting it so tight on my lower right side, this is the only symptom I have.

That is where your ileum is located. This is the last portion of the small bowel. This area is often affected by Crohn's. That is where mine is the worst. Hopefully you'll get some answers when you see the dr.

Thank you, my physician thinks that is what it may be.
Do you take meds? or have to be on a special diet?

Yes I take meds. Took a while, tried different things until I found the right ones/doese for me. Never had to go on a special diet. You may find that certain foods bother you though. I try to limit a lot of whole dairy and lots of salad. Seems to bother my stomach but nothing crazy.
