DD usually goes right down. If we are out somewhere, she will usually fall asleep in the car on the way home...when we come in, I put her in PJ's and she will usually go right to sleep with no fuss.

I found that for the first couple of months, Ava needed to go down at the same time and in the same place. After about two months, she could go down at any time, late or early, and not skip a beat. Now, we stay out on weekends, bring her home and she is fine. I think it takes a while to get them used to it.

Ella generally goes down without crying, and its not necessarily the same time each night. We read her cues and put her down when she's tired. We only used CIO to break her of the habit of waking up during the night (on the rare occasion she wakes up during the night now, we do not make her CIO, and she's a great sleeper)

She's very flexible - she can stay up late if we're out or she'll just fall asleep where ever we are.
