About how much are movers?
Generally speaking, how much would or could it be to move from a one bedroom apt t another about 30 miles away?
What can I expect?

Well, I would start by calling around and getting quotes. When I moved from the city to LI a few years ago, I got SCREWED. I paid double from what they quoted me. It was for a bunch of reasons...I honestly think the movers stopped to have lunch somewhere b/c they got to my house 2 HOURS after I did (we left the city at the same time and were following each other for a while). Anyway, my suggestion is to find out if you can get a contract that states the price...otherwise, they can charge whatever they want once they have your stuff.
