? about newborn making sounds
my DD is 3.5 weeks, when she naps during the day (wherever it may be) she sleeps calmly doesnt make any noises BUT when i put her to sleep at night its like automatically she starts making all these noises - like shes babbling on and on - and shes breathing differently like she';s excited/anxious.... did this happen to anyone???

Re: ? about newborn making sounds
Hmmm gabbie DS was kind of a 'noisy sleeper' at that age but I didn't notice any difference between night and day. Granted I was deranged from the sleep loss, but he was gurgly all the time... Do you have DD sleeping in a different place or position at night vs. daytime??? Trying to think of anything that would account for the difference, but while they're stilll waking every 3 hours give or take there's nothing obvious that comes to mind....

That's why DD went out of the bassinet and into the crib our 3rd day home! She was so noisy and we jumped at every little noise she made.

Here too--I didn't sleep at ALL with him in our room because the noises were constant. And it seemed to be more so at night--I think it's a deeper sleep.
