About traveling when your baby is on whole milk...
Ok this may sound dumb but what do you exactly? Ok we are going on a cruise in July and by then DS should be on whole milk now I know that we'll be able to get it on the ship for sure but my question is what about on days that we are on shore. Like for example one of the stops is a private island in the bahamas which is basically a beach day. What do we then?
Sorry if my question is dumb

You can pretty much buy milk anywhere you go! or bring an ice pack and bring the milk with you!

Parmalat's Lil Milk!!! It's in the powdered milk section of the grocery store. It's liquid whole milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated while traveling. All of my mom gf's travel with it. You can do a search on it online and it will pop up so you can see what it looks like.

You can just give water for a few hours if you're concerned about being in the sun with milk. Toddlers don't need milk around the clock.

I agree with PatsBrat.
What time do you get off the ship? What time do you get back on?
My son at 13 mos (and still now) drinks milk 2-3 x a day. In the morning a bottle (right when he wakes up); milk with his cereal (he doesn't eat cereal everyday though) and once in the evening around 6pm (another bottle). Maybe you could schedule him that way on the days you're on shore. Give him a bottle when he wakes up, then bring water with you during the day while you're on shore and then give him another bottle in the evening when you get back on the ship.

Stop 1-we arrive at 1pm in Nassau Stop2-we arrive at 7am in the private island Stop3-we arrive in Bermuda at 8am
Yes, exactly.
So day one, I would give him a bottle in the morning when he wakes up, give him lunch before you get off the ship; then bring water or juice for him while you're on shore. Then try to give him a bottle when you get back on the ship.
Day 2: bottle right when he wakes up, then take water/juice with you on shore and give him another bottle when you get back on the ship.
Day 3: same as day 2.
ETA: Are you going to be out with him onshore at the Bahamas until 1am? If so, I would probably skip the evening bottle on day one so you don't have to worry about bringing milk with you all day. It's one day of a little less milk. It's not going to kill him. He'll be fine. My son sometimes refuses his evening bottle so he doesn't drink milk every evening and he's growing fine.

Re: About traveling when your baby is on whole milk...
You can also bring an empty bottle with you when on shore if he drinks milk at lunch. Just ask at whatever restaurant you are eating at to fill it.

I don't think we'll be onshore until 1am in the Bahamas.
