accupuncture

I am considering doing this and I know I need to get my butt in gear. I have ER on Friday and ET on Monday. When should I have treatments? Is it too late?

Re: accupuncture

Not too late!! Definitely go before and after tx...there are studies showing increased pg rates by doing that...its called the German protocol..

Re: accupuncture

I would do both -- but ask the acupuncturist what s/he recommends...

Even if you don't use her, I would call Antoinette and she can give you some guidance...Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: accupuncture

Ok so I made an appointment with my friend who does this. I actually first asked him what he knew about it and he actually works in a clinic in Rockland County where they do it. He seems to know what he is talking about and has helped my family out with a lot of other ailments. I am having ER on Friday at 11 and will see him afterwards since he recommends a few treatment before the ET as well as afterwards.

Kara- thanks for Anotinettes number. I will probably call her also to find out what she recommends but she is kind of far from me.

Re: accupuncture

I take off everything but my panties, and put on a robe, and lie face up on the table with a blanket covering me until the needles go it. I get needles in the abdomen, feet, calves, hands, head and ear.

She puts a heat lamp on my belly, with a mineral plate on it. Soft, soothing music, pillow under my head and knees, and I usually fall asleep.

When I went the other day I started to strip from waist down -- lol...I am getting my stripping routines all confused!!

Re: accupuncture

My acupuncturist Dr. Wu, will peel those panties I am wearing wayyyyy down lol The needles go way beyond my abdomen. However, this is usually before O and right before implantation.

Afterwards, it's all about the ears lol

Re: accupuncture

oh shhit! I dont think I can do this. I have to ask him if I have to get naked, because if so I think I might cancel. I have to see him often and believe me this is not a pretty sight.

If I do proceed, i have another question for you all. He never takes money from me and I want to pay him, what do you all pay per session.

I pay $75 a session, but my insurance does not cover it. I think the first visit was $100.

Re: accupuncture

bump for Donna

BUt also,

AS you know a friend of ours is doing the accupuncture for me. He wont take any money from me so far. I insist on giving him something so I may just have to leave it behind. How much should I give him per treatment?
