ACNE!! please recommend your facewash and creams. . .
since going off BCP last year my skin has been horrbile. i tried stopping my prenatal for a few weeks to see if that was contributing and its been over a week and my skin is still bad. please recommend any creams or face washes that have worked for you and are safe while TTC.

I use Cetaphil in the morning and Eucerin for a moisturizer. At night I use Cetaphil again and moisturize with Ceruave (sp). They are both recommended by my dermatologist. Also I use Clintomycin & Finacea which are a Rx.

bare essentuals makes a cleanser that is amazing- its like a powder and you add a couple drops of water and it exfoliates the skin- I was having horrible outbreaks and its under control now
I also use their moisturizer and their make-up and I think that helps too

are the clintomycin & Finacea safe to use while TTC/preggers?

Before BFP, I found the PERFECT combination that worked for my skin.
Ovace face wash twice a day
clinamyacin gel in the morning
retinA at night
Now, I had to switch to Netrogena Rapid Clear face wash and only the clindamycin gel.

i LOVE the rapid clear line by neutrogena and the bonus is that i was able to use it while PG (though check with your doctors - some okay benzoil peroxide, while others okay salyclyic acid).
the thing of it is - that i learned is that you have to use the ENTIRE Line of something - not a moisturizer from one, an acne lotion from another. These 'lines' were designed to be used in conjunction with each other - ya know? It made so much sense to me when my Mary Kay lady explained it to me!

Dr. Murad has a really great line, i use the vitamin C stuff, and he has a pomegranate serum that has salacylic acid in it. Great stuff!

my dermatologist said to use anything that has 10% benzoyl peroxide. clean and clear makes a decent benzoyl scrub that ive been using.

I swear by philosophy products!! I use Purity for the cleanser and Hope in a Jar for moisturizer. A while ago I had their microdelivery pads because they came with a set I ordered and I absolutely loved them but once they ran out I forgot to buy more. I just got more this week from Sephora and I used it for the first time in a year or so and it made a dramatic diff just in one use. I love it!

tonight when i went to the lady who does my waxing i was talking to her about my problem and she said the same thing. she's an esthatcian (sp?)and know's a lot about skin, so i bough a bottle of 10% benz per. cream and we'll see how that goes.

Make sure you keep using moisturizer because if your skin is too dry, it will make your skin produce more oil and you will actually break out more.
I use Neutrogena foaming wash and Clinique moisturizer.
