I have the same problem. I found this line Belli on drugstore.com. It is safe for pregnant women.

It is a little drying at first, but it seems to be working well with a buf-puf.

My ob had said to stay away from all over the counter meds to be on the safe side. That I could go to a dermatologist and see what they recommend. I called I called my gyn(the one I was seeing before getting pg) and she gave me prescription for Benzoil peroxide and erythromycin topical. She said these were safe and they gave to other preggos in her practice.

I heard that Benzoyl peroxide wasn't safe. My clinique cream has it and I stopped using, it is the only thing that works for me! Maybe different dr's have different practices? I know your Dr. wouldnt give it to you if its bad.

I would stay away from salycic acid as well...how about trying some natural facial cleansers like witch hazel pads or something similar? I would really try to stay away from anything strong...
