Safe acne creams/lotions for pregnant women
My skin has become so oily and I have been breaking out so bad!!!! I use the clinique acne skin care system but I read salicic acid/benzoyl peroxide (sp?)isn't reccommneded. What CAN I use? I don't wanna have pizza face for 9 months! lolol XOXOXO BOTB

I have the same problem. I found this line Belli on drugstore.com. It is safe for pregnant women.

It is a little drying at first, but it seems to be working well with a buf-puf.

My ob had said to stay away from all over the counter meds to be on the safe side. That I could go to a dermatologist and see what they recommend. I called I called my gyn(the one I was seeing before getting pg) and she gave me prescription for Benzoil peroxide and erythromycin topical. She said these were safe and they gave to other preggos in her practice.

I would stay away from salycic acid as well...how about trying some natural facial cleansers like witch hazel pads or something similar? I would really try to stay away from anything strong...
