activities for a 3 year old in nassau county in the summer?
My FI's nephew's birthday is the day before our wedding. My FSIL lives in SC and will obviously be up for the wedding. She was looking for some ideas of things to do with her son (who will turn 3 that day) during the day of his birthday. It has to be in the Nassau County area, as our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are that evening and my FSIL is in the wedding party.
They are staying in Garden City, so the closer to there the better.
Any suggestions? We're seriously open to hearing ANY!

The Long Island Childrens Museum is perfect for a 3 year old and lots of fun and it is located in Garden City.

Are there any small amusement parks any more with rides for smaller kids? He's really into rides, but I couldn't think of anyplace...

Adventureland on Rte 110 in Farmingdale. Not far into Suffolk.
