I was just about to post this!!! I loved her!! so sad...
loved la bamba and tortilla soup ... she was such a great actress.
i wish they said what illness she died of... it seems odd

So sad. I LOVED her in La Bamba & Batteries Not Included as a kid.
I wonder if Modern Family is going to address this, or just bring in another actress to play Gloria's mom.

I was coming on to post this after hearing it on the radio this morning 
I loved her, esp. in la Bamba and that TV show she was in, I married Dora. Way way too young...
