acupuncture

Have you done acupuncture?
What was the reason for getting it?
Have you seen results?

Thank you.

Re: acupuncture

From my personal experience and from what my clients tell me, it is best for pain management.

But people who want to stop smoking, fertility treatment and people who have seasonal allergies have seen great results.

Re: acupuncture

Yes, I used acupuncture for my last IVF cycle. I can't say enough positive things about it!

Re: acupuncture

yes - for back pain - loved it. thought it was great. my sister goes and has wonderful results. My cousin is studying to become an acupuncturist and I am trying to get her to come to my house to do a session for me for what i think is carpal tunnel.

Re: acupuncture

I just started if for "labor induction", back pain and pregnancy induced hypertension.

Of all the things I've tried for my back/leg pain this has given me the most relief. While it's not a ton of relief and I'm not cured it is a noticable difference.

It hasn't put me in labor, but it's not really meant to. It's just another prep for your body to get things in sync.

My blood pressure after two accupuncture visits did go down slightly.

I don't know if I"m totally sold but I think it's worth trying.

Re: acupuncture

My mom has used it for intense back pain and it helped. My SIL used it for fertility reasons.. .she is now pregnant, but whether not that is actually related to the acupuncture, that's could be debated. my father has tried it a few times to stop smoking with no luck.
