Acupuncture Review
i figured that i would throw this out there for some people who may be curious about acupuncture. i went for my first treatment last night for smoking cessation. if anyone wants any information on where i went, feel free to FM me.
the acupuncturist was VERY nice and made the room VERY relaxing for me... turned off the lights, gave me a pillow and put on relaxing ocean sounds.
every pressure point is different for the variety of different things you could get acupuncture for.... smoking cessation is 2 needles in each arm, 10 needles in each ear and one needle at the top of your head (that sounds really painful, but that one was the LEAST painful lol)
now, i'm a person with 12 peircings and 4 tats... so i wasnt afraid of it huting... which it didnt really... once you got passed the initial pinch of the needle, it was more uncomfortable than anything. then she left the room and i layed there and THEN it became VERY relaxing! i could feel the needles on my pressure points and it was very calming and soothing.
after 30 mins she came in and removed the needles. i'll be going back for another treatment next week. she says that the results vary for everyone... some people come in once and never smoke again... some ppl have to go a few times to absolutly end all cravings. so far, i havent smoked! its wierd... the best way i describe it is that when i get a craving, i think about it for like 5 seconds and it passes... just like that. which is TOTALLY different from when i tried to quit a while ago with the patch, i would get BAAAAD cravings that lasted longer and were more intense.
so all in all, i am very happy and impressed with this whole experience!! i reccomend it to anyone... they can do acupuncture to help anything!!

Glad you like it! I go to acupuncture for Infertility. I love it, it's very relaxing.
