mommy and daddy need to give her a bath, and get her hair under control -
Kids get dirty and messy yes, but when you're out and about and you're Adam Sandler, - Stick a barett in her hair ! Jeeze !!

really, I agree...give the kid a break, she is a baby ...I can see how adults may be fair game (rumer, etc...) but she is a baby

I was not a cute baby. Not that I am a looker now, but I was not cute. I had a huge head and pasty skin that showed my veins - well I still do, but I can wear make up, hats or even a veil if I were so inclined. Fortunately, I had personality to counteract my looks - so my much older siblings say. Now THEY were good looking children.
Sorry to say but not every person, child or not is good looking. Otherwise, we'd all be models or I guess we would all be average. I just think it is up to the person to decide how much discretion they want to use when talking about other people's children.

You are right and that is exactly why I did not state my opinion.
Then again, I am sure Bruce and Demi would hurt just as much knowing that people are slamming the looks of their full grown daughter as much as Adam Sandler and his wife do when people comment on their baby's looks. Its parental instinct. My mom at 75 would want to kill someone who hurt any one of us and her children range from 37 to 50.
However human nature in regard to celebrities is tempting.

Yeah, it sucks either way but I know if I got on people for bashing Rumer (which I would LIKE to do, mind you  ), I would get the whole "well she is a "celebrity" (not that she is a celebrity herself...but you know where I am going with this)
I think when it comes to a baby, all bets are off. I just think that is plain mean and crossing the line

She does not look dirty, and as many moms of toddler girls will tell you, some kids will not leave hairclips, hats, etc. on no matter how hard you try. There was a post about it today on Parenting, most of the girls rip them out almost as fast as you get them in.
I can only imagine what you'd have to say if you saw my kids out and about without hairclips and *gasp* maybe some paint on their shirts.

So let me ask--is that your daughter in your avatar? You say "beautiful Emily." What if she was not clasically beautiful--I don't think you'd still be on the bus to hell.
