Adopting dogs when living in an apartment?
We want to try to adopt another Boston Terrier. Is it more difficult to adopt when you rent? We wanted to go through Boston Terrier Rescue. Just wondering if anyone has experienced any difficulty in adopting when you don't have a fenced in yard? Thanks!

I think the important thing is to research the breed the best you can and make sure the dog is suitable for apartment life.
Unfortunately, when you adopt, it is hard to be certain that the temperment will be what is expected. If you can arrange to spend some time w/ a particular dog at the shelter or speak w/ someone who is familiar w/ that particular dog, that would be helpful.

Re: Adopting dogs when living in an apartment?
When we adopted, we just gave my parents address and they called my parents house to see if it was okay. Our complex allows dogs but you have to pay rent for them. The lady told us knot to say anything if we get a dog until we are sure it will work out but we haven't said anything for the past year. If we had given the shelter the address to our apt, they would have wanted to call the landlord.
