Adventures with Ryan -warning, a little gross
So we're getting the siding done on our house so there's little hope for a good nap with the banging and noise. So Saturday I decided to stroll Ryan around The Source Mall to keep us occupied.
I decide to do a diaper change in Off Saks since I know it's usually clean, and big in there. Didn't realize what a stinker he made.
Ok, we're transitioning to milk and it was BAD. I pull off his jeans and there's sh!t covering his thigh 
He's wiggling, I'm wrestling him - it's not fun and absolutely disgusting. I figure I have to throw out his onesie, put his jeans back on and that's that. I had no change of clothes since I've convinced myself a diaper bag is unnecessary and just had a diaper and wipes in my bag 
I use a pack of wipes to clean him off, toss the onesie and try to put his jeans back on - which seemed clean - but NOOOO - poop stuck inside the leg, which is now on my hand 
Garbage.
And apparently Ryan took off his socks and tossed them down some aisle along the way - so, if you saw a frazzled mom in the mall strolling around a child, who was thrilled to be wearing JUST A SHIRT and DIAPER - that was me. Looking to buy pants for my naked child who was hysterical laughing.
I finally found a pair of pants for him in Childrens Place only to stand on line for a half hour to pay for them- I honestly was ready to just leave with him in them

Trying to upload my phone pics to show you this happy camper. I can't imagine what the other moms where thinking when they saw me pushing him around like this

I always just throw a diaper and wipes in my purse and go. I am rethinking this now!!!!!!!!!!!! I was cracking up reading the story, but I am taking it as a lesson and leaving some clothes in the stroller!!!

OMG!! Something similar happened to me at Nordstroms. DD was round 4 months old and wearing footed a footie onesie with a zipper that BROKE!! I had to rip it off of her Luckily I had a change of clothes though.
Too funny! I would have loved to have run into you!!

Oh he thought it was great - he was yelling "YAYYYYYY!!!" and I kept trying to put his jacket over his legs and he'd pull it off and hang it over the side of his stroller while I pushed him.

We have all been there.
I have a spare onesie and pair of pants in my bag now, just in case. And boy did they come in handy!

I have had both a giant poop explosion with DS1 at the Source and a no-change-of-clothes, have-to-put-DS2-in-just-a-diaper situation around six months ago, so I feel your pain!
