advice? advise?
i see people on the boards post the word advise alot..do they mean advice? or to "advisssse" them...have i been spelling it wrong all these yrs? lol

It would depend on whether you were asking for advice or for someone to advise you.
Advice” is the noun, “advise” the verb. When Ann Landers advises people, she gives them advice.

I think most people on here really mean advice, not advise (in the context it is used most often on here at least).
