Advice needed-Being sick with a NB
This is not about visitors, but me
Apparently, I've caught a nasty cold-fun because DH goes back to work tomorrow and my mom and his mom went back to NY. Fortunately, DD is a great baby, especially now that I have the nipple shield and a great milk supply.
I think the OB said she will be fine since she is nursing, but I can't help but worry since my nose is running and I am coughing a little (fun with a c/s incision). I am taking Sudafed which helps stop that, but I am worried I can make her sick.
Should I be taking extra precautions? I have antibacterial gel next to me and I throw tissues away immediately and clean my hands. Should I wear a mask or anything else or am I being silly?
Also, wish me luck tomorrow-I have no help and I am sick.

She'll be fine. Believe me, those little buggers are resilient. What you are doing is fine.
Be careful with the sudafed though- it can deplete your supply. To dry up, non-BFing mothers are often instructed to take Sudafed.
Good luck!

Oh thanks for the heads up! Is there anything safer?
