Advice needed: BM in a wedding 2 months PP
I'm in a wedding 2 months after my due date. Our dresses haven't been chosen yet. I haven't started to show yet, but I'm worried that by the time we order I will be. Plus, I have no idea how much weight I'll loose in those first 2 months. Has anyone been through anything like this?

When you get measured, the seamstress will usually make suggestions based on your current size and if you plan on BFing. Your boobs will stay bigger if you plan on BF so the dress will need to accomodate them. The cut of the dress will also make a difference. Also remember that street sizes are different than BM dress sizes. The seamstresses should be experienced with handling this!
Good luck!

I'd probably order 2 sizes larger than your pre-pregnancy size. Even if you lose the weight within 2 months, your body may be completely different. It's always easier to take the dress in than take it out.

Re: Advice needed: BM in a wedding 2 months PP
I was picked to be a BM in a wedding 5 weeks after my scheduled due date. I was told to come in at 4 1/2 months pregnant to be measured because that is the standard thing that dress shops do.
I am tall and wound up stumping the seamstress because at 4 1/2 months I hadn't gained one pound and was still the same size. That CLEARLY was not to be the case post pregnancy no matter how Sarah Jessica Parker I think I am So they guessed I think 3, maybe 4 sizes up ...I wound up going 3 1/2 weeks early (AND up 52 pounds)and was just about 2 months PP. I had to get the dress taken in...A LOT. But it was better to have too much than too little. Just go to a reputable dress shop and get a really good seamstress (I was lucky, I had my MIL) I also waited until like 3 days before the wedding to finish the dress...I wanted to lose every pound possible.
ETA: remember that you can go up to 2 weeks late, so there is a potential to having even less time. I also accounted for that chance.

This happened to me exactly one month after i was due. It is always better to order bigger so they can take it in. Just remember your chest will be huge too so I dont know what kind of dress you are getting.
As far as weight goes, some people lose weight fast and some dont.
But for me, it was a "sexy" dress and I had to add material to the chest part cause it wasnt covering me.
