Re: after delivery, did u wear a girdle or spanx etc?
I wore a girdle. It def helped keep it all in and help me shrink back up. Anytime I've had an affair to go to after giving birth (I'm pregnant with #3,), I've worn either a waist cincher or spanx.

Re: after delivery, did u wear a girdle or spanx etc?
I wore an abdominal binder after my c-sections. It helped me not feel as sore since it provided less movement of belly, thus irritating my incision less.
I did wear a girdle/spanx under my clothes if I had an event to go to and I had to get dressed up. I had a wedding at 1.5 months post partum that I was a bridesmaid in.
I had such a big belly after my DD that the spanx didn't really do anything. I feel like spanx are just to smooth everything out, not suck in as much. I wore the girdle that I had from my wedding, which helped, but since I had such a issue with my post-baby belly, nothing really helped me. I had to go another route for that.

Re: after delivery, did u wear a girdle or spanx etc?
i asked my OBGYN for something when she came to check up on me after the delivery and a nurse brought it to me. it was a "girdle belt". I found it sooo uncomfortable so i only wore it for the 1st week. i know so many people swear by them though and i think i will get a more comfy one next time around...
ETA: i had a c-s so i think that may be why i wasnt so comfy in it...

I didn't wear anything, but maybe next time. I seem to be having a hard time losing my belly...I wonder if that's why

I wore a girdle after I gave birth. My doctor (as well as my mom) told me to wear one. I feel that it really worked well in holding me in.
I bought one at Macy's.

I have spandex type bicycle shorts that I wore last time, but this time it's just too hot. You have to keep the incision area really dry so for right now I just have gauze on the incision. Hopefully it'll cool down soon and I can get them back on.

Same with me except I bought it at Lord and Taylor. It was one of the ones with those "hook and eye" things running up the front. While it wasn't the most comfortable thing it totally held everything in a and gave me my waist back so I felt MUCH better about myself. I tried the Spanx type stuff but the waist kept rolling down on me so it defeated the purpose of wearing one. I liked the girdle contraption better!

Hi there! It can in S. M, L or XL and it looked kind of like this - high waisted:

Except in the front it had a long line of the "hook and eyes." I want to say it was about $40-$45 dollars? I am sure Macy's carries something smiliar as well as Stefanie said.

I literally wore it 24/7 for about 3 months. I wore it under my clothes and even under my PJ's at night. I was religious about it and I really do think it helped with getting my waist back and holding my stomach back together. Plus it looked better so when I saw myself in the mirror I felt better seeing some outline of my waist again

Re: after delivery, did u wear a girdle or spanx etc?
I rec'd a binder after my 2nd c/s and it was great. They did not offer me one with my first c/s nor had I heard of one but I asked the nurse at the hospital after I had the 2nd one and she gave me one. It really eased the discomfort - a lot!

Re: after delivery, did u wear a girdle or spanx etc?
I'm still looking for something myself and may try advice on this thread. I ordered spanx on line and the underwear came up above my boobs! Any smaller a waist and I'd never get them on so clearly they aren't for me and now I have to pay postage to send them back... they are still in my car. I also tried a bunch of body shapers I bought at Century 21... they wouldn't let me try them on at the store so I took them home, they didnt fit... so I brought them all back and bought nothing... back to square 1.
I'm taking a break and just wearing my "grandma panties" which cover my incision. I'm letting my gut hang out and daily I'm asked "when's the baby due?". It totally s*cks, but nothings working for me. I hope you have better luck.
