After getting title search how long to close?
We're in title search waiting hell  just very anxious to close...the lawyer said we should have it by early next week. My Q is how long after you get the title search do you generally close?

Once your title is complete, and you have approval from your mtg bank you should be able to close right away.....Congrats

If your Mtg is in place, it's just a matter of getting all parties together and agree on a closing date.

Once your title is complete, and you have approval from your mtg bank you should be able to close right away.....Congrats
This about sums it up! SHould only take a few days, a week at most if your mortgage is already in place!
Make sure to get your homeowner's insurance policy in place NOW!

Thanks for the advice Betsy...we've had everything in place for 2 weeks now. We just received WRONG info. from our mortgage bank re: title search or we'd have already closed.
