After neutering question
We got Murray neutered today, and he just seems miserable. He lays down and falls asleep, but wakes up in 2 minutes and is like pacing around our house. He seems like he can't get comfortable.
We got pain meds from the vet, but they gave him a pain shot while he was there and we arent supposed to give him the meds until the morning.
Is this normal? We feel so bad for him

Very normal. He will be a new man tomorrow, odds are. Today he will be very odd and cranky. I never even used the pain meds for my dogs b/c by the next day, they were almost back to normal.

Well if they gave you pain meds, and he can take them now, it's up to you if you feel he needs it. But my dogs wound up falling asleep and were almost fine the next day.

Thanks for asking, he's back to himself now. He ended up falling asleep on the couch with me. He;s normally not alowed up on the couch. By the next morning he ws wanting to go play.
