provera
iam starting this today, since i have not gotten AF since my dnc. it has been 9 weeks since the procedure. i hope this works!!
etd to ask if anyone has had any experience with provera?

I had taken it several times to kick start AF. I took it for 5 days, had no side effects and then got AF on day 7 (2 days after finishing pills). I had to take Provera 3x in 2003 and the 3rd time I didn't get AF. ?? I went to the doctor and I had gotten pregnant, so it did kick start my system, I ovulated and got PG!

Provera is a form of progesterone. It will produce progesterone in your body the way your body does after you O. When the progesterone leaves your bloodstream, Af will begin.

I'm a regular poster but using a different name because I feel more comfortable that way. I was just started on Provera with no real side effects. I stopped on a Tuesday and got my period on Sunday.
