After the infant car seat, what is the next car seat?
DD is almost done with her infant car seat. What type of car seat is next? I am clueless about the next stage.
TIA

The next seat is generally the convertible; they range in weight from 5lbs to 100+. They should be rear-facing until at least 1 year old and/or 20lbs (the longer the better). Then they get to be turned around. Many of the new seats turn into boosters for the next stage.

Thanks. What is the difference between a convertible seat and booster seat?

Convertible seats are up to 4 years+ (1-2 years old rear-facing, then 4-6 years old forward facing). Booster seats are for after they outgrow the convertible seat.
