Ahh, where can I find comfortable pants & jeans for my lil' chub-a-lub
My DS is such a little chub and so far I can't find any that aren't too tight around his belly. I just bought some pants at Target and the waist was SO tight on him, even though they were his size  I have some from the Gap and they are OK, but not great.

Have you tried Old Navy? I have some very comfy pants for DD from there. I haven't tried their jeans yet though.

Have you tried Carters...they have a lot of elastic waist.

I find that Greendog clothes from Macy's are the best fit for DS.

My co-worker was saying that she found great pants at either Gap or H&M that have extra elastic at the waist to let them out more. I'll find out and let you know.

H&M trousers have elastic and buttons in the waist. I love their pants for my little kiddo. I also love those soft cotton pants that Carters does, they come in a two pack. They are lovely and comfy for around the house.

My DD is a chubba wubb too and I've NEVER put jeans on her. They just look too uncomfy. I did find a pair at Old Navy last weekend that had a cloth waist band and they were really nice and looked comfy.
I looked on line and they don't have a pic. They were $16.50

Thia - What size does Daniel wear usually? and how tall is he?
He's 27 inches tall and mostly wearing 12 month. But there are some things that are still 9 month. (He slept in a Carter's footer sleeper last night that is 9 month and it still fits very well.)

Yah, I do a lot of soft pants and one-peice rompers. He wears those to daycare and around the house also. But now that he's getting older, I want to dress him up more like a little boy sometimes.

Gap has these that might be worth a try:
Ribbed-knit waistband, faux drawstring with bow detail.
Snap at center front, zip fly, elasticized back waistband for easy pull-on and off.
Old Navy (I just bought these for Lucas):
Sizes 6-12 M, 12-18 M, and 18-24 M have an elasticized back waist, while sizes 2T - 5T feature an adjustable waistband.

i like karate pants on ds. they're very comfortable adn not tight at all. i get tehm from american apparel. the jeans dept, i haven't put him in jeans, yet. so i have no idea where you may find comfortable jeans

I just bought these for Josh at the Baby Gap outlet in Tanger. They fit him very nicely. My little 8 mos old porker is 23 1/2lbs and 29 1/2 inches long so I totally feel your pain!

Ang, I actually have the first pair you posted. He was wearing them at the GTG. I wonder if I should try the 12-18 month in Gap. He fits into the 6-12, but I feel like the elastic waist-band is snug. The length is perfect in the 6-12.

Madison has the same problem with her belly, got a size 18 months and it works great they are long but fit her belly.... baby gap!!

yes they are the same size!! Gap pants are strechy and great for their bellies!! also I got a pair well a couple at target that fit her great to... it is just crazy that they are 18 months!!
