Alergic? Irritation? Is this normal? Help!

DS is 4.5m. We always notice that DS has red marks on the back of his head near neck. Always different shape and in different spots. We never thought too much of it. Thought it was from getting hot or something. Then today i saw it again, much worse then normally and thought maybe its from the velcro on his bibs. I dont know if it is an allergy or just from irritation? I did take the velcro part and just touched it on his head (totally diff area), didnt rub or press down hard, just sort of touched it to skin and within seconds a red spot appeared. I did this a few times.

Here is a picture. Does this happen to your DC? Do you think he could have an allergy to it?

This happens to my DD too. I always thought it was from the bib. It goes away after I take it off and doesn't seem to bother her so I'm not worried.

I'm sure he's fine!

Same thing happens to my DS too and I am almost positive it is from the bibs. I try to make sure that all of the velcro is covered so none is touching his skin and when I take the bib off the redness usually disappears very quickly.

same here! he gets so red and rritated from the velcro! it goes away tho!

ok thanks! I wasnt too worried since I knew it was happening, but I feel better knowing it prob is just irritation. Ill mention it to the Dr. at his next visit.
