Alexandra's 1st B-day Party - Review & Pics!
Just wanted to share some pics/review from Alexandra's b-day party that was earlier this month at our home.
It turned out to be a great day and we were surrounded by family and friends which was the best part of the day.
The theme revolved around the invite which had a cute saying on it - "Oh My, Oh My How Fast the 1st Year Flew By". I had intended to do more with the theme, but I had so much going on in my personal life that I kinda lost interest, totally procrastinated and found myself doing everything 2 weeks before the party. YIKES! I didn't get to do a ton of stuff that I wanted to, but I think it still came out pretty good. I wound up focusing more on the colors than anything else.
Huge, huge thanks, to my buddy Ang-Rich for letting me bounce numerous ideas off of her and humoring me with the countless emails back and forth. I think I really must have bugged the s h i t out of her! LOL She also made the most AMAZING rainbow cookies and they were so delicious!! Thank you again, Ang!!!

I had them design the back side of the invite, inspired by the invites that
Ang-Rich designed for Gregory's 1st b-day party.
The party was styled by moi and items used were a combination DIY and fabulous vendors that are on my preferred vendor list.

Balloon wreath that I made (and that DH broke 20 minutes before the party started!!) Don't ask! I was able to fix it but I was so mad!

Diana - I did all this at the last minute. NEVER. AGAIN.....I had so much more planned and I ran out of time. Everything was done between 9pm - 2am for about 2 weeks before hand. LOL...

Not hard but time consuming. I will say it's much cheaper to make your own than to buy them in the bakery. Wow they are expensive!
How cute that Christine had them match the theme?!

I love everything!!!
Did you have other desserts too? I want to do a table like that but people are bringing dessert so it won't match my theme( once I pick one).
