Alexas 4 month well visit with weight update and Pic overload!!!
So yesterday was Alexa's 4 month check up. I was sooooo nervous because it had been a month since her last weight check and if her weight hadn't drastically improved there was talk about sending her to a metabolic specialist and other testing
On May 14 she was 10 lbs 9 ozs and 23" long
Yesterday, June 14 Alexa weighed in at 11 lbs 11 ozs and 25" long!!!!!!!!!
She gained 1 lb 2 ozs in 1 month and grew 2 inches!!!!
This was DOUBLE of what she has been gaining since birth. At her highest she was gaining 2 ozs a week and she oly did that for 1 month. THis averages out at 4.5 ozs a week.
Needless to say we are THRILLED and even though she is still low on the growth charts this is a HUGE improvement and we don't need to do any further testing!!!! We were so happy last night DH went out and bought a bottle of champagne!!
I can't believe 4 months have already gone by. I am BLOWN AWAY everyday by her sweet personality and happy disposition. She is ALWAYS smiling and blowing raspberries.
Below are my newest favorite set of pictures that PERFECTLY shows Alexas funny personality. THese pictures were all taken in about 90 seconds......... Here is my little ham!!!!

yay maria!!!!!! i'm soooooo happy for you and lexi! she's too funny - but what happened to her pigtails?! she's rocking the bed head do huh? lol i love it!!

Dude... I can't get her hair to stay down..... I've tried EVERYTHING short of greasing it down with hair gel. SHe wouldn't stay still that day for me to do pigtails...... OH WELL.... Now she can look at these pics when she is 18
