All 2009 Mommies: How about a get together after the holidays??
What do you think? We should have a mini babyshower get together for ourselves. Each mommy to be could bring an item in the $15 range for another mommy.
We can either do a weekend brunch at a restaurant
* BK Sweeneys Uptown Grill ($15)
* Leos (also $15) both in Garden City
*Jonathan's ($15)
or even a potluck at my house (Hempstead/ Garden City area)
It would be a great opportunity to make new friends and have a relaxing day with fellow mommies- to- be.
Let me know if you would like to join in the fun. Lets plan for mid to late January. I'm so excited!!!! Oh, and don't be shy!
Possible dates: (Saturdays) Jan. 24 or Jan. 31 or Feb. 7

That would be great.
I know us February Mommies To Be are planning a GTG the middle of January before we all have our little ones.
I'd definatly like to join this one too, but I think late January I may feel too uneasy being so far away from my hospital "just in case" as I live in NJ and since I'm due the very beginning of Feb.

Sounds good, but it all depends on the little one..after today's office visit, it looks like he wants to make an early appearance, so I could very well be in labor or a new mommy by then..so I am a tentative yes lol.

sounds great to me! i like the potluck idea... it would really give a chance for everyone to mingle instead of just getting stuck in one seat at a restuarant and then feeling rushes while we're there.... just a thought.

Same here. Well I am not in Jersey, but late Jan might begin to get tough for the Feb mommies.
