Re: All-inclusives?
We went to Paradisus in Puerto Morelas (Riviera Maya) in February. It was a great all-inclusive - excellent food, and many restaurants to pick from.
Also, have been to the Rendevous in St. Lucia - lovely resort and atmosphere, but so-so on the food. They had one buffett style restaurant which was OK, and another nice sit-down restaurant that was very good.

Re: All-inclusives?
I will recommend Grand Lido Negril because it is an adults only resort with great activities and it is also beautiful.

just curious as to why not?
we booked RIU Palace in Punta Cana based on a recommendation from my BIL (who's a travel agent- and tough critic)... and because it had great reviews.... but I'm Definitely curious to hear the other side, and any negative feedback. thanks.

I stayed at an all inclusive RIU in the Bahamas and it was fantastic. One of the best vacations I have been on. It shares the same beach as the Atlantis!!
