Allergies (Respiratory)
Has anybody else been suffering?
I have been getting quite a bit of throat irritation and congestion. I ALWAYS get this bad when the weather turns nice and pleasant.
Does anybody else suffer from this? It is almost as if I swallowed a forest ( yes this is how I describe it to friends and family).
Most of the people I know suffer from stuffy nose, running nose, and sneezing. That is not currently my problem. Mine is more post-nasal, throat related. I am CONSTANTLY clearing my throat.
Anybody else? Can you recommend any good allergy meds for this? I am miserable. I am currently taking Sudafed for Nasal congestion and it is just okay.

Re: Allergies (Respiratory)
This is my time of year...LOVE the weather...HATE the allergies I get with it
My Allergist has me on Allegra D, Nasacort (spray), and Advair for my allergy induced asthma.
I recommend going to see an allergist. I think mine saved my life! I would get HORRIBLE daily headaches too!

Re: Allergies (Respiratory)
My worst symptom is my poost nasal drip.
I take allegra in hte morning, zyrtec at night and astelin twice a day, Astelin is what helps the most. It's a nasal antihistamine. Most of the other sprays are steroids. I find most sprays make it worse, but Asteline works miracles. Also I have a GREAT allergist in wantagh, if you want a rec.
