Almost 38 weeks and just came down with a cold and sore throat!
I finally feel like I am ready to meet my little man and I get sick! Now I am terrified that he is going to come early and I am going to be fighting this cold  I am drinking tea with honey, gargling with salt water and hoping for the best. Any suggestions or words of advice?

Do your best to rest, drink plenty of fluids ect. I got the flu at 38 weeks and everything was fine. DD was born on time and we both were healthy.

Thanks everyone! I just can't believe I managed to stay healthy this entire pregnancy and I get sick NOW

I know it stinks in terms of energy for labor if u go in the next day or two but I have been sick like 5 times this pregnancy and I have a close friend who is a biochemist who always says not to get upset b/c you are giving the baby nice antibodies! Try and think of it that way, lol.
