Aloha...we are going to Honolulu!
I am SO excited  We always wanted to go to Hawaii. We are leaving on April 12....staying at the Marriott ...definitely seeing Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head...snorkeling is a must...who has suggestions for me!

if you have time take a day trip to another island. interisland flights arent that expensive, and its only about a half hour to another island. The islands are SO different!!
Pearl Harbor is so sad- but something you definitely have to see.
Also spend time on the north shore!!
DH and I loved hawaii and cant wait to go back!

there is a great catamaran trip that is offered all over the place - make sure you do it - they take you out to swim w/ sea turtles and then they take a fun (and wet lol) ride through the waves - beautiful! the ocean is gorgeous and the sea breeze you get while jumping through the waves on the boat is AMAZING!
also - check out the hilton hawaiian village - they have amazing shopping. i would not recommend doing the polynesian cultural center - costs a lot to get there and is boring as H E L L --- also, there is a high-end outdoor mall right in Oahu - amazing!

If you watch LOST, visiting Kualoa Ranch is a must. (If you don't watch LOST, I strongly recommend you start watching now, so when you get back you can watch the show and reminisce about how beautiful Hawaii is.  )
If there's any way you can get upgraded to the JW Marriott -- do it. It's not in Waikiki and feels like it's a world away.
Even just driving around Oahu is great. If you make it up to the North Shore, the Turtle Bay resort has restaurants that are open to the public.

snorkel in hanauma bay, go to turtle beach, cockaroach cove, drive to the north shore it is really pretty if you pass a yellow truck that says shrimp shack stop and eat it is delicious, wakiki beach is just like times square at night so walking around is always fun

WHAT is cockaroach cover???? Not sure I want tpo go there

Have a great time! I love Honolulu!!
Since you are staying there 7 days I would suggest you do a one day trip to one of the other islands..totally worth it...also, the best beaches are: Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve & Lanikai Beach, a must while on Oahu
