Alpha Omega Car Seat
I was in BRU the other day checking out a new carseat for DS who'll be one at the end of the month. You girls recommended both the Graco comfortsport and Evenflo Triumph Advanced. A BRU salesperson approached me and recommended that I get an Alpha Omega covertible carseat since it will turn into a booster. I have never heard of the name and was wondering if any of you have some feedback on these seats. He said they were all equal...any thoughts?

Re: Alpha Omega Car Seat
We registered for it for DS 17 mos ago - We haven't used it as a booster yet - seems fine as a car seat.
DH has it in the 2 door jeep - DS get into it without a fit -
At last doc check-up DS was about 27 lbs/ 50%, and about 60% for height.
I know at the time we registered it had EPP foam - some sort of shock absorbancy foam. Not sure if its standard now or what. It is a big seat.
I think there is a metal rod in some seats now that is becoming more standard. I know its in some Britax but not sure which ones.

Re: Alpha Omega Car Seat
my mil has this seat in her car for DS. I read reviews on it after she purchased it and i believe it was rated good. He likes it and has been in it since he was 6 months I think.

Re: Alpha Omega Car Seat
my mom and i both have this seat. I love it in her caravan but for some reason I absolutley hate it in my murano ( i think my seats are slanted). My DS is faced backwards and everytime he falls asleep his head falls forward soooo bad. I tried to buy these pads but it doesnt seem to work..Does anyone have any solutions?? I dont really want to go buy another one.
