Am I guaranteed for another girl this time?
DH and I would love to welcome a boy with this pregnancy, but all of my friends recently found out they are having boys. Does this mean my chances of having a boy are out the window?
(I know I will get flamed for posting this and that's not my intent. We love our DD and  for this baby to be happy and healthy no matter what the sex  )

Everyone around me has either just had a girl or is p/g with a girl, so I thought, like you, that I had no chance of having a girl, but I was wrong. I am having a girl. It will be granddaughter #5 for my parents and 0 boys. I prayed for a girl. I wanted dd#1 to have a sister so bad.

I feel like there are so many girls, that I have to be having a boy!! there is nothing wrong with having a preference!!

Nope. You have a 50/50 shot provided DH's chromosome are evenly equipped with x & y chromosomes.
Probability doesn't change no matter how many friends have boys.

exactly.....
and dont feel bad for wanting one or the other....your child is loved just the same whether boy or girl- its not like they come out and you like at them, thinking, i love you, but maybe i would love you more had u been a ____, you know?
