I need help re tummy time!
DS absolutely hates it! I tried the boppy pillow and everything...this is the face he gives me when we do tummy time!
What do you suggest I do? Is it bad not to put them on their bellies? Will he get used to it eventually?

I know most dont care for tummy time..My DD didnt either.
I would try to add some toys in front of her....get down with her and talk to her.
Eventually they get a little bored but each time got easier.
For me I thought it was important. Helps with head stability..the picking up of head....helped her in crawling cause she started to get up.

It is hit or miss with my son. Lately he doesn't mind it. I think all they need is a few mins a day.

As far as tummy time though, all you can do is try a little each time.

i am no help here because jonah hates tummy time too. i try to keep him amused by putting him on his play mat facing all his toys, but i can usually only get 5 minutes of smiles max before he cranks it up...

Just keep trying. DD hated tummy time too, until one day, she just tolerated it, but that didn't happen until like 4 months...we didn't do anything different, she just began to accept it I guess.

DD absolutely hated tummy time as well-i think that is why she learned so early to flip from belly to back. It helped when I would get down there with her and I just kept doing it several times a day for only a few mins each time. Now she has been flipping onto her stomach to play.

ds hated tummy time, right now he hates being on his back  just keep trying! it will probably get easier once he rolls over on his own... I love the picture
