am i the only crazy one, or does anyone else get sick from brushing their teeth EVERY DAY?!?
 i hate the morning!!!
I've tried different toothpaste flavors and everything...doesn't do a thing. This better end soon!!! I hit that magical 12 wk mark and NO CHANGE!

I'm 8 weeks, and along with food aversions, this just started happening to me  I gag just thinking about brushing my teeth!

Yup....I think one day I didn't get sick and then started worrying something had happened....Not to fear, the next day was the worst of all!!

You're not crazy, this was a big problem for me. I would go through this everyday from like 5 weeks on. It stopped a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was gone. Some days I'm fine and others I spend the morning gagging and vomitting in my bathroom sink

I had the gags with brushing my teeth, and showering even in the early stages of pregnancy. I remember feeling dizzy and that I would pass out. It only lasted I think about a week fortunately.

I didn't get sick brushing my teeth, but I heard that is somewhat common in the first trimester. Hope it gets better soon!!

Yes, I gagged until about 13 weeks or so. but it went away. It wasn't really about the taste of the toothpaste I found, it was more about where it was in my mouth if that makes any sense at all!?!? If it was at the back/sides of my tongue it would make me gag, so I tried to keep it at the front.
Now it's just loading the dishwasher that makes me wretch...and you'd think DH would take that as his cue...

ME!!! Brushing my teeth and showering (like someone else said above) would make me so sick... I would dread brushing my teeth every night because it was a gamble as to whether or not I would throw up all over my freshly cleaned teeth and have to start the process all over again.. Unfortunately for me nothing helped but time, which is the most annoying answer ever when you are going through it every night.
eta I expected things to get better at 12 or 13 weeks and when they didn't I freaked, but I did notice a huge improvement once I hit the 15 week mark

I gag every morning when I brush, but it doesn't make me sick. It's been this way for me though even before I was pregnant. Tooth paste just grosses me out.

I still get sick from brushing my teeth sometimes, at going on 35 weeks. I have to stay away from my tongue and the back of my mouth, and get the whole thing over with quickly or else I gag and inevitably get sick. I try to follow up with mouthwash because I hate doing such a sucky job with brushing.

you're not alone! I used to vomit everytime I brush my teeth during my first trimester, i would end up brushing my teeth 5x
the grossness never went away, but now i just gag, instead of vomit. OH JOY!
ETA: I find that Tom of Maine toothpaste is more tolerable than other ones out there.
