Am I the only weirdo that loves paying bills?
I feel cleansed after I pay them all for the month. I'm sick, I know. I only get paid once a month, so I pay every, single bill for the month at one time, and I love that I don't have to think about bills again for another month. I also love that every cent that JT brings home can go into savings. I'm such a dork

I love paying the mortgage!!!! Then I know that the rest of our paychecks for the month can either go to savings or we can go spend it on useless stuff

I pay bills electronically. They are all set to pay on certain days and I never do anything. It's blissful. I guess I'm missing out on the cleansing feeling.

I don't look forward to paying bills AT ALL, but it is a relief to getting them all paid off at the same time..so you don't have to think about them for a couple of weeks..

We pay our bills automatically online so we don't have to remember to do it. Half of our money goes directly into our ING account. I LOVE watching that number go up!

I like it also- as long as Jake comission checks come in time- otherwise it isn't so fun- moving money around- I get upset if I even have to take money out of savings for a few days till his check comes
the life of being married to a salesman- I keep thinking how easy everything would be if he was on salary! oh well!

same here. i only leave enough money in checking to pay the bills and spending cash so if we have to move money from savings for a few days until his commission check comes, it drives me nuts. i've definitely perfected my budgeting skills being married to a salesman!

I'm right there with you. I feel like a financial burden has been lifted.
obviously I hate paying them. every check I write I curse the whole time  ok, maybe just with certain bills like RENT

I think it all depends on whether you're making a dent or not! I hated it when I had credit cards to pay off, I would wonder how many years it would take for both of us to improve our credit, pay off the loans/cc's, and finally be able to buy a house.
Now that we're there, I feel like I accomplished something. And feel that way whenever I pay something down to a zero balance. Like paying the car insurance in full for the policy period.

We do that too. DH was addicted to checking the amount of interest every week.
He's backed off a little. Now he only checks once a month.

Nope you are not the only who loves paying bills. My DH and I despise having debts so we make sure all our bills are paid in full monthly. This way we do not stress about bills and having alot of debts.
