Am I wrong to try and return this?

Big sign at the craft store, no returns on bags of chocolate wafers. I show an employee my mold and ask him how many bags to make 2 dozen pops and he says "at least 4". I literally make them all with ONE bag. I really didn't realize I was buying too many. It's sort of hard to visualize and I took his word for it. I feel like the amount he was off by should warrant the manager to make an exception and at least give me a credit if not the return. No?

I would definitely give it a try. Sounds like a reasonable reason

If you explain the situation, they should at least give you store credit.

I'm glad you got your money back - but honestly, when I first read it - I thought YES! it is wrong to return chocolate. I would have eaten the leftovers - probably in one night. Chat Icon

Chat Icon Molding chocolate isn't really that tasty until t is melted & re-solidified.

This calculator can be helpful, as long as your mold isn't too crazy of a shape.

I'm glad you got your money back.

that is surprising they have a policy. if the bags are unopened it should be fine.
