How long do you try before you go to the Dr to see if something is wrong?
We have a 3 year old daughter and we started to TTC back in Oct and still nothing I know its only been 6 months but is there a time to just go to the DR and get tested?? We had no problems getting pregnant the first time and the last dr visit I had he didnt seem to be concerned. I guess its just me wanting to get that BFP asap .
If this post comes out wrong please do not take it the wrong way.

If you have pretty regular periods and o on your own I would say its prob just taking a bit longer...but what do I know lol
They say it can take couples up to a year..if u r charting and know when u o and still nothing..go with ur gut..if u feel like something is wrong then talk 2 ur ob..nothing wrong with that
Best of luck to you guys!

i think this is just as much a personal decision as when to start ttc...

depending on your age a lot of doctors tell you wait a year. if you're older... 6 months.

Re: How long do you try before you go to the Dr to see if something is wrong?
I am gonna see if my doc can do blood tests and check all my hormone levels at my appointment next week, and this will only be my 3rd cycle, but I have had some weird things happen the last two and I had half my thyroid taken out a few years ago, so I want to make sure that everything is up to par.

Re: How long do you try before you go to the Dr to see if something is wrong?
I literally just posted the same questions about a week ago and then ended up getting my BFP lol. I too was on my 6mth of trying and everything is pretty reg. with my body but I was just getting so frustrated already that I was ready for the next step and then BAM BFP. I agree with Gina...if you are reg. then its probably just taking time...remember, there is only a 20% shot each month and thats with doing everything right HOWEVER if you are concerned and want to see a Dr. then there is never a wrong time...GL
