American Airlines??
i have never been on American Airlines.. i always have used Jetblue..
we are leaving on Sat for Aruba and i was wondering what perks they have? if any?

i love Jetblue too, but we got a packaged vacation with AA being the cheapest airline 
do they have TV's?

No they don't have TVs but if it is a direct flight you might have a movie on one of the overhead TVs or screens.

i took AA to aruba b.c it was cheaper too and if i could do it all over again i would do a few things different..
bring ur own food..and drinks!!! lot of snacks!-they charge so much for snacks!!! the flight to aruba is 5 hrs and u will get hungry, i under estimated how hungry i would get..
also u dont have ur own tv to watch so bring an ipod or dvd player or lots of magazines...also u can pay for headphones but bring ur own to make it easier..

yea i hate not having the TV's i guess i was spoiled with jetblue 
ill have to bring other stuff to keep me occupied..

Sorry to tell you Deanna, but I detest American Airlines. The perks for AA is that your flight will eventually land. I wish I had something positive to say about them, but I really don't. Well, they do serve beverages on your flight!

ahhhhh... i am so glad i posted so i can prepare myself for a disaster of a flight!
so basically there is no entertainment and i have to bring alot to keep me busy?!! i am going to buy a new book now

I fly american a lot because that's where DH and I have accrued the most mileage. It's not Jet Blue but it's clean and safe and you will get there! Bring some snacks and books and magazines. 5 hours is a fairly short flight so it will go fast. Enjoy Aruba

I hate AA--we just used them for St John--they didnt even give my DH a drink of water....nothing like Jet Blue
