***AN AMAZING UPDATE, PLEASE READ!!*** my 2 year old godson has brain cancer...please pray for him

i am beyond happy to be able to tell you all that during tanner's doctor visit today, his parents were told by the neurosurgeon that he can already see that THE CHEMO IS WORKING!!!! from what i understood they originally didn't think we would be able to know anything for a few weeks, so this feels like an absolute miracle.
i am not joking when i say that i really believe that all the prayers from everyone, including you all on this site, have had a part in this incredible news. i've been crying on and off all day today, i'm crying as i sit here typing this. after 2 weeks of the most terrible fear i've ever experienced, i am overwhelmed with so much joy and relief. i know there is still a long road ahead, but it's so incredible to know that he's already fighting and WINNING in the battle against this cancer.
i cannot tell you what all of your kind words and prayers mean to me. my mom sent me a quote that i wanted to share w you all...

please keep the prayers coming, from what i was told originally, no matter how well he does with it, he will have to continue the chemo for the full 11 months. but thank god it is working and i just know he will continue to get better and better. thank you so SO much.

this past week has been absolute hell. a week ago today my nephew, my godson, had to have brain surgery because of a tumor they discovered the day before. the tumor was behind his eye and was pressing on his brain, so during the surgery we all feared maybe some vision loss or worse, that something would go wrong and his learning ability would be slowed...we just didn't believe in the possibility that the tumor could be cancerous. when we heard the word "malignant" i thought i almost passed out. that was the worst day of my life, my beautiful little nephew who is not even 2 years old yet has brain cancer.
i am asking everyone i know to please pray for my godson, tanner. he is an amazing little boy with an incredible spirit and the chemo just has to work. this week has been hell, but we have been receiving reassurance from the doctors that this type of brain cancer has a high survival rate. but 70% just doesn't seem high enough to me, i need it to be 100%. i have never believed so strongly in the power of prayer before, but every day when we visit him at the hospital he looks and seems to feel a little better.
please, please pray for tanner. we love him so much and i cannot imagine an alternative to him NOT being ok. we need him to be ok. i don't post on here much but i am begging you with all my heart to keep him in your prayers. we've been praying so hard all week and we get better news every day, but now it's up to the chemo to work, and hopefully it won't make him TOO terribly sick.

thank you so much, please keep them coming! he's going to need 11 months of chemo, that's almost a year of this poor kid's life...but whatever it takes to get him better.
