My DH is Cuban! Although I discussed the issue of Castro being dead and they said that rumers have been circuloating for months. They don't believe the hype right now although it is possible.

Would the US definitely lift the embargo/sanctions against Cuba if it was true? I hope so, my cousin is Cuban and I know he would be so happy.

Wow...my little abuelita in Florida thinks she's getting her house back! My grandfather worked for the govt under Batista, and when Castro came, they had to leave...which is how my mom even ended up here; she was born there. Anyway, my grandma is calling saying she's getting the house back! lol...it's probably the home of some other family or gone entirely. She no longer has the deed.
