An Update on Me
As some of you may have noticed, I've been "M.I.A." from LIFs for awhile. I want to say thank you to so many of you for your concern. I received FMs from so many of you asking if I was OK and checking up on me. Even though I was unable to answer those FMs and posts, it meant so much just knowing that so many of you were concerned about my well-being.
Unfortunately, I do have some sad news to share. During my doctor's appointment 2 weeks ago today (which was to have been my 12 week sonogram) I was told that we had, in fact, lost our baby  My doctor was unable to detect any fetal activity or heartbeat. It was diagnosed that our baby stopped developing/progressing around the 10 week point (most likely shortly after we had first saw our baby's heartbeat during my first sono at 8.5 weeks). Needless to say this came as a shock to me and my husband, this news was simply devastating. I was especially stunned because I was not experiencing any miscarriage symptoms whatsoever - I had no bleeding, spotting, or cramping, nor any loss of pregnancy symptoms. I still felt very pregnant  I had what doctor's described as a "missed miscarriage." Rather than wait to miscarry naturally, my husband and I made the decision with my doctor to schedule a D&C the day after I found out about our loss.
Physically I am doing well now. Emotionally, of course it is a lot more difficult. Luckily, I am blessed with a husband who has been my rock of strength - without him I would never be able to get through this. We are also both fortunate to have amazing families who have supported us tremendously. These past weeks have been heartbreaking, but the only thing I have tried to hold onto is my faith in the fact that God had a different plan for our "little pea" and he/she is now in Heaven. I try to take some comfort in the knowledge that my husband and I now have our own little guardian angel who will watch over and take care of us.
It has taken me some time before I felt ready to post here again. For some reason it was hard to share this news "publicly." I suppose I was not quite ready to deal with it myself. But I realized (unfortunately) I am not unique in what I am going through, since I know so many of the ladies here have experienced losses/miscarriages. It is unfortunate that we have to share this common bond  but I find strength in so many of you who have dealt with your losses in such a brave fashion.
Rather than focus on sadness though, I purely wanted to take this time to say "thank you." When I announced my pregnancy here, everyone was so happy and supportive of me... and I felt such an outpouring of love from everyone. I will never forget that.
I would be remiss if I did not say this as well: I have been an active poster on LIWs and now LIFs for quite some time now and I have been fortunate to have made many "real life friends" from these forums, that go beyond the context of a chat board. When I found out we'd lost our baby, I contacted my friends here to let them know about my loss...and without hesitation, these wonderful ladies (and one fine gent  ) have been there for me every step of the way. They have cried with me, supported me and comforted me in ways I never though possible, and I just feel so blessed to have them in my life. You are the BEST friends I have ever known. I can never thank you enough for your kindness, and Anthony and I love you 
I was only part of this pregnancy board for a short few months and I'm not "officially" part of this group any longer, but I still want to take this time to wish all of you happy & healthy pregnancies. I promise not be a stranger and I plan to continue to follow your progress and post my support and encouragement, as you all did for me every step of the way on my journey. I cannot wait until I "meet" your beautiful babies   
I only hope that once my body and heart have healed a bit, I will be back on this board soon - with happy news to share once again.

Oh Felicia, I don't know what to say besides, I am soooooo terribly sorry for your loss.

Of course we have said this privately over the past three weeks and we will say it again, we are extremely sorry for your loss. You and Anthony are two of the best friends we ever had the honor of knowing and I've told you many a time, everything happens for a reason. We'll never know what the reasoning is, but we firmly believe that God will take care of you, He always takes care of the good people. And now, you guys have a guardian angel

First off Felicia, I am so sorry that this happened to you & Anthony. But as you said, now the two of you have your own guardian angel helping you every step of the way. We all need a guardian angel. Secondly, we are all here for you in anyway we can.
