An update on my eating issues with DS
So I decided to just wait for him to tell me when he is hungry instead of asking him and it's been working .
He still isn't the best eater but he is grazing more with I really don't mind since they are healthy snacks.
Just thought I'd share my exciment (yes this excites me )

I could totally tell the other day that he was feeding (no pun intended) off of your frustrations!
That's great! Hope he continues for you!

So you still have mealtimes or do you just let him tell you when he's hungry even if it's not meal time?
G has been giving me issues eating for the longest time, some days she eats a ton, some days she eats hardly nothing.
Her little sister weighs more than her.

Their is no real mealtime now except dinner. He ends up eating while watching something on tv which is what I was trying to avoid but at least he eats. Dinner is always downstairs though. He use to eat more and it would be infront of the tv before we moved and then when we moved I stopped that. Around 20 months is when he really started giving me problems. If he wants something that is messy to eat like yogurt then I make him eat it at the table and he will. Even though he grazes I make sure not to give him cookies or goldfish because I need to make it count as some sort of meal or have a nutrinal value. So it is either banana's, yogurt, some sort of fruit. Last night he finally ate a hot dog after not having one in about 3 months. I also stopped giving him juice when he asked for it. I tell him he can only have water (he doesn't like it) and he will usually eat something then. I also just bought Honest Kids juice boxes which is actually organic flavored water. So he gets that as a treat. I really just stopped pushing him to eat.
