Angel Eyes? Anyone try this?

Oreo's eyes are very runny. We are increasing the amount of baths he gets. He is a havanese, which are known for runny eyes, so I doubt it's anything allergy related.

Here is the thing, today we went to the pet store and they had a product called Angel Eyes. It's a food additive (for those who have not heard of it) that's supposed to decrease and stop the tearing "from the inside". I was wondering how safe it is though and if it works. Anyone heard of this stuff, or even used it?

The web site sings it's praises (of course). What do you guys think?

Here is a link to the site:Angel Eyes

I have a whole bottle of it.. It is an antibiotic called tylen. It cant be good. If your dog ever gets sick and needs this then he may become imuned to it. I did try it at first and she kept throwing up. My vet advised me not to use it. He recommended this http://www.malteseonly.com/cart/product_details.php?item_id=154 I am sure its ok for your dog as well. I cant believe it works but it definately does. I would try this first. It says for maltese but I believe the havanese is in the same family and it cant hurt him.

I Wanted to get angel eyes. My neighbor downstairs swears by it. They have 2 shih tzus and there are no tear stains. My vet says she hears it doesn't work. My poodles tear stains are horrible. I am always shaving his eyes. I am not so sure about it. I am afraid to spend all that money and it go to waste.
