Anna Nicole Smith Rushed To Hospital
HOLLYWOOD, Florida (February 8, 2007) -- Access Hollywood has learned that Anna Nicole Smith has been rushed to the hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
Sources confirmed to Access that Anna Nicole was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 pm. EST on Thursday after collapsing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
Local police were reportedly forced to shut down the streets to expedite rushing her to the hospital.
According to reports, fire crews and emergency personnel performed CPR on Smith and put a tube down her throat.
Her bodyguard was also reportedly visibly shaken at the scene.

DEVELOPING STORY.
Anna Nicole Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
According to hotel officials, emergency responders performed CPR at the scene and a breathing apparatus was inserted in her throat. Anna was immediately transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2:00 PM EST.
WFOR-TV in Miami reports that Anna was found unresponsive in her hotel room. Local streets were closed off to rush Smith to the hospital, three miles away. Paramedics were seen pumping her chest as she was taken from the hotel.

She has been on ET a lot and every time she is so drugged up it is frightening. I worry for her baby's safety

My husband just called saying that he heard some people are saying she is dead. They are mixed reports. I feel bad for her baby if this is the truth. Her life is truly tragic

I hope the rumors are false. That would be tragic. And that poor little baby.
I wonder if Trimspa had anything to do with it. I always heard how dangerous those diet pills were.

Confirmed by her lawyer
Anna Nicole Smith has died, her attorney tells MSNBC.
Her Los Angeles-based attorney, Ron Rale, says Smith was taken to the hospital at 2:00 p.m. Sources say Smith was found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., where she was staying with her companion, Howard K. Stern.
Her 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope, was not with them, sources say, but is being cared for in the Bahamas by the mother of Shane Gibson, a high-ranking Bahamian official who is a close friend of Smith's.
According to Access Hollywood, which broke the story, Smith was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital.
On Wednesday, a Los Angeles judge ordered Smith, 39, and Dannielynn submit to a DNA test by Feb. 21.
The test is tied to a paternity lawsuit filed by photographer Larry Birkhead, who claims he is Dannielynn's father.

I am sure there will be more to this story. Sad...very sad. God punish me for saying this but it seems like it would come sooner than later for her. Her poor family.
