Anniversary dinner rec in Suffolk?
Dh & I want to go to dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary. We were thinking either Tellers in islip or Insignia in smithtown. Anyone been to either place? Any reviews? I'll take other suggestions too!

Tellers over Insignia. I thought Insignia was highly over rated.

I have had excellent meals at both, and both are $$$$. IMO, you can't go wrong with either one! Happy Anniversary!

Insignia is not my favorite. Heard great things about Tellers though! I've also heard great reviews on the Oar House in Patchogue, although I have not eaten there.

I prefer Tellers out of those two! My favorites are kitchen A bistro in St james or Orto in miller place.

Insignia has a cool atmosphere, but is overpriced IMO.
I guess you're looking for a steakhouse?

Doesn't have to be a steakhouse. We just want someplace nice that we've never been to.

We are going to George Martins Strip Steak in Great River for our anniversary.
Ive never been, but we have a GC. We've been to Insignia and also have a GC there too, but decided to try this place.
