Annual Birthday gift-Boy
I want to try and get some kind of "annual" gift for my DC for their birthday.
I think I am going to get DD either a charm bracelet or swarovski crystal piece.
Any ideas for my DS's though...I am stumped!

I get my dd a swarovski flower each year.
We get DS a Lionel train car each year. I know a couple who are big baseball fans get their DS the full Topps set of baseball cards each year.

It's not a birthday gift.. but every year we buy our son's Christmas ornaments that have some meaning with relevance to that year. One year Robbie was really into cars.. he has a car ornament. Another year Noah kept talking about penguins..
For birthdays.. I have been writing them a letter every year since the day they were born. I haven't done any special binding or anything.. but one day I will package them up and give them to them. Maybe when they get married?
We also do a family picture every year on their bdays so I will include those with the letters.
As to physical GIFTS.. I don't know. I'm interested to see what others come up with!

my grandfather bought all the kids the Hess truck every christmas.
perhaps you can buy it then and give it for the birthday??
I'd like to take my son once a year to San Siro (in Milan, Italy) to see a game around his birthday. my little diavolo

Lenox makes a Birthday Train. You can get him his age every year and it can turn into a collectible when he gets older.
Precious Moments does it also.

I got them all ornaments already...my mom did this for us and when I got married I already had a nice ornament collection. I got a little notebook to write why I bought each ornament.
Oh...and my Dad (big baseball fan) bought both DS's the baseball card sets for Christmas!

sorry - i am not a help with the boys theme ( my son is 3 so i should do somethig) my Daughter i was going to do the porcelin cake toppers with the age on it. can't think of the name but i will write when i think of it.

i think we might do the lionel train for our DS' and either swarovski crystal or something lenox for DD. i was also thinking charm bracelet for DD, but by the time she is 18 that would be a lot of charms!!!
