Anonymous Call Rejection
Does anyone know how to set this on their phone? I can't remember. I know its * followed by two numbers...

No, I think that is the numbers that block you... I need the ones that prevent people with blocked numbers from calling you without hitting *82...

Right. I need the numbers to activate the anonymous call rejection service on my phone so people with blocked numbers must hit *82 when they call me.

hmmm....i can't remember.  sorry.
i thought it was *67 too, but i think that is to block your number when calling someone.  
maybe try dialing *67 from your phone and hang up. then ask someone who has a private number to call you, and see if they get that recording that they must dial *82. ????

It definitely wasn't either of those numbers...
When I had an on call RE call me a while ago, I remember the service called me to tell me to take the anon. call rejection off my phone so the RE could call (I guess from home), and they told me what to press.
I just moved and want to set it up on my new phone...I thought it was but I received a blocked call last night.

is this your cell phone or regular phone?
if its cell i dont know.
if it is your regular line you must call your service provider and tell them to set you up with this feature.
my mom has a "private line" where she comes up as a private caller and when you call her you need to press *82 first before dialing her regular number. otherwise the operator says "this number does not accept private calls, please hang up and redial using *82 before the number"
